This Case Study examines how Merck went about selecting and implementing eXact’s elearning (LCMS) technology.
Selection process
Merck was looking for a ‘best of breed’, collaborative, flexible toolkit to support the organization’s content management strategy. This Case Study provides a practical examination of how the selection process for the best LCMS technology on the market was undertaken.
Implementation process
Later we examine how Merck worked with eXact learning solutions to ensure a successful implementation. This resulted in enterprise-wide adoption and usage.
Merck‘s high-level requirements were a solution that provided one place to store everything (cloud, internal, and external). This was provided by the eXact Digital Repository. Merck also wanted good project Management capabilities with automated workflows; a CDN (Distributed Network); support for video; and scalability (for worldwide access).
